Mr. Joseph Colley is the newly appointed Chairman of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of The Gambia, following the retirement of long-serving Chairman Mr. Alieu Momarr Njai. A veteran in electoral administration, Mr. Colley brings over a decade of experience and institutional knowledge to the helm of the Commission.
Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Mr. Colley served as the Vice Chairman of the IEC from 2021 to 2025.
